DESTINATIONS

We like to take day trips to interesting locations of historic or scientific interest. In southern Nevada and eastern California we endeavor to look for natural water sources and mining camps as well as native American archaeological sites. Our travels have taken us to Death Valley, the Mojave Preserve, abandoned railroad stops, and the open land surrounding them. It is a good feeling to be unhindered by fences and "no trespassing" signs.

Few areas are off-limits to the traveler who researches, observes and then passes taking nothing but photographs, not to mention the pleasure of having found interesting natural phenomena or unique remnants of the past. I've included some former trips from my previous web site, but hope to add some new adventures in northern California and the northwest corner of Nevada as time goes on.

Please choose a destination for a photographic tour of some interesting places.
